Barabra was born July 21,1953 in Stuttgart, Germany to parents, Roger and Herta (Kitty) Keene.
Barb was born and raised in Fort Atkinson and attended Fort Atkinson High School, graduating with the Class of 1971.
Barb lived briefly in Watertown after graduation before life took her to Madison. While in Madsion, Barb was a caregiver to a close friend for many years. She went on to care for others, as she could. Barb made many friends and acquaintances over her years in Madison. She had fond memories of traveling and spending time with her cat, 6-Toes. Barb also liked to dabble in gardening.
Later in life Barb retired to the Northwoods, living in Minocqua. Barb enjoyed spending time with her special friend Ron and enjoyed Nature right outside her window.
Barb’s health deteriorated over time. COPD got the best of her. She moved into Rennes Health & Rehab Center in Rhinelander. Barb was happy with Rennes. The staff was caring, and she made new friends. Ron continued to visit providing support and comfort to the end.
