Carol Ann O’Brien, aged 82, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026, in Lake Mills, WI.
Born on March 14, 1943, she was a cherished individual known for her beautiful soul and generous heart. Carol’s ability to strike up a conversation with anyone exemplified her outgoing and loving nature.
Carol graduated from Granville High School in Brown Deer, WI, and subsequently built a fulfilling career in Human Resources, working for several companies where she was well-respected for her skills and compassion.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother, survived by her children, Lori (Kevin) Becker, Steve Ziebell, Debbie (John) Nash; and grandchildren, Kyle (Tatum) Becker, Kori (Jake) Parshall, Garrett (Ali Marie) Nash, Cassidy Nash and Ansley Nash. She is also survived by her siblings, Sue (Dale) Romens, Tom Majewski, Mike (Judy) Majewski, Paul (Pam) Majewski, Mary (Bob) Lewicki, Jim (Lisa) Majewski and many other family members. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Lucille Majewski; her husband, Dan O’Brien; and her nephew and godson, Daniel Lewicki.
Carol had a passion for life, enjoying activities such as bowling, playing the organ, and immersing herself in music and movies. She also found joy in playing bingo and slots, which were among her favorite pastimes.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Rock River Lanes in Fort Atkinson on Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 1 to 4 p.m., where friends and family will gather to honor her memory and celebrate her vibrant life.
